There will be 3 distances for all athletes in the sno wshoe trials\; 200m and 400m sprints followed by a 2.5km run.

Location - Mt. Ma c Snowshoe Trails - meet at the upper parking lot behind / beside the Tenni s Courts
Distance - 6 kms approx.
Star t time: 4:00 pm *please arrive at least 20 minutes early if you ar e borrowing snowshoes and need to get them set up.
No experience requ ired! Come out and race and/or just have fun! There will be category prize winners along with draw prizes. Hot chocolate and treats at the end of the race. The annual Cro cus Run is a guided run that kicks off the Athletics Yukon running season.< /p>
Location: Starts and finishes at the Linda Rap p Building at the Robert Service Campground. Parking is available at the campground or at the ball diamonds across the street.

This run starts at the Robert Service Campground. Parki ng is available at the campground or at the ball diamonds across the street . The run will leave the campground and head towards the Rotary Centennial footbridge and proceeds onto the trail system. Once on the tr ail system you run along the ridge trails overlooking Riverdale and all the spring crocus’. You exit the trails to run a short distance on Gray Mounta in Road before you return to the trails system until you exit by the educat ion building. At this point you continue across Alsek and back onto the mil lennium trail to the finish.
This 8km run is on mixed terrain but is mostly run on trials.

Cancellation Policy: The person responsible for flagging the route can opt to cancel/r eroute the run in the event of aggressive wildlife\, trail safety or weathe r conditions. This will be posted to social media if time allows or Athlete s will be notified in person at the run start location.
This is a wilderness run so a few rules apply:
- No earbuds
- Follow flags and stay on trails
- Ca rry cell phone with Race Organizer's phone number (Nancy: 333-0983)
- Events are self-timed and each runner MUST check in
at completion by entering their time on the sign in sheet (if you do not sign in we will come looking) - Carrying bear spray and wh istle may be appropriate
- All runners with dogs must follow the grou p by a few minutes to avoid tripping incidents
